About This Place

Situated in the ancient Convent of Our Lady of Conception, of the Order of Saint Clare, this museum is a rare pearl. In addition to the important collections of archaeology, painting, and tilework, the convent's own architecture justifies the visit, highlighting the Chapter Room and the exuberant Gothic-Manueline decoration.

Team Tip

The convent's cloister, with its tiles and windows, is absolutely stunning. Take advantage of the joint ticket with the Castle.
